2009 Global Outreach (GO) Offering
Deadline Is Next Sunday, December 6 All monies for the Global Outreach Offering need to be turned in by next Sunday, December 6. This includes the quarter container rolls for the children and teens, regular Global Outreach offerings, and Day’s Wage offerings. See the Global Outreach Offering 2009 insert for more information.
Youth Fundraiser Meal
Next Sunday, December 6, 2009 7:00 PM—Activity Center Please remain following Sunday School next Sunday night and help support our youth ministry. They will be preparing a dinner to help raise funds for the youth who will be attending Accelerant in January of 2010. Donations will be accepted. Accelerant is a wonderful and uplifting spiritual time for young people, so this is a great opportunity to sow seed into the lives of our youth.
No Kid’s Church Today
Kid’s Church (1st through 6th grades) meets for worship in the sanctuary on 5th Sundays. Today is a 5th Sunday. Children should sit with their parents during worship. Imitators (ages 3-5) will meet as regularly scheduled.

Updated directories are available at the information center. Feel free to pick up your copy today. If any information for you or your family is missing or incorrect in the directory, please notify the office. Any changes will be included in the next update.
Poinsettia Order Forms
Please fill out one of the order forms included as inserts in today’s bulletin if you would like to order poinsettias in honor or memory of loved ones. The deadline for placing orders is December 13. The cost is $6.50 for each poinsettia ordered. The poinsettias will be used to decorate the church sanctuary for the Christmas Holiday and may be taken home following the worship service on December 20.
Help Needed in Sound/Media Ministry
Anyone interested in helping with the Sound/Media Ministry, please contact Pastor Deb immediately. Experience is preferred, but training will be available.
Can You Help at the Food Bank?
Betty Franks needs volunteers to help with loading food at the Food Bank on Monday mornings. Please see Betty to volunteer or for more information.
Christmas Card Table Will Be Available
A Christmas card table will be available in the foyer beginning next Sunday. Your are welcome to leave cards for your church family on the table. Also, please stop by the table each week to pick up the cards which have been left for you.
Next Connections 101 Class
Begins Sunday, January 10, 2010 Please sign up at the information center if you would like to be a part of the next class. Pastor Tim teaches Connections 101 during Sunday School. It is a requirement for membership at CWOC, but is open to anyone interested in attending.
PICTURE DAY—DECEMBER 12, 2009
Mark your calendars and set your appointment! LAURA BLEVINS WILL BE AVAILABLE IN THE FOYER FOLLOWING THIS MORNING’S WORSHIP SERVICE TO SET UP APPOINTMENTS FOR HAVING PICTURES MADE. PLEASE SEE LAURA TODAY FOR AN APPOINTMENT. This will be a make-up day for having pictures made by Creative Touch for the new Pictorial Directory. If you did not have your picture made for the directory last year, or if you would like an updated picture for any reason, please plan to have your picture made. The cost for tickets is $10.00. The $10.00 is profit for the Women’s Ministries. With your ticket you will receive a free 8 X 10 photo and a copy of the church directory. Without a ticket you will not be able to get a free directory. You will be given the opportunity to purchase photo packages when you pick up your free photo.

Crossroads Family Christmas
Sunday, December 20, 2009 6:00 PM—Activity Center Mark your calendars so you won’t miss this fun evening of entertainment, food, and fellowship with your CWOC church family. This will also be our time for giving and receiving gifts. The Music Ministry sponsors this event and they will be furnishing soups. Everyone else, please bring sides and Christmas goodies.
Worker Appreciation Banquet
Friday, January 8, 2010 If you can attend the Worker Appreciation Banquet, please add your name and the name of your spouse, if attending, to the sign-up sheet in the foyer. Please list also any children in your family who will need nursery care. The Banquet is for all Volunteers, Helpers in any ministry, and everyone in Leadership.
