Thank You Pastors Betty & Marcia
We thank PASTOR BETTY FRANKS and PASTOR MARCIA KOLBERG for filling the pulpit while Pastor Tim has been out of town preaching a revival in Lake City, Florida, this week. Pastor Betty delivered an inspiring message to us on Wednesday about Honor, and we look forward to hearing the word the Lord has laid on Pastor Marcia’s heart for us during this morning’s worship service.
2009 Global Outreach (GO) Offering
Deadline Is December 6 All monies for the Global Outreach Offering need to be turned in by Sunday, December 6. This includes the quarter container rolls for the children and teens, regular Global Outreach offerings, and Day’s Wage offerings. See the Global Outreach Offering 2009 insert for more information.

If you would like to order CDs/DVDs of services (CDs:$3.00; DVDs $5.00; add $1.50 to mail) , CD Sets (Get Over It! 3-CD Set, $10.00; Core Values 7-CD Set , $20.00), or a Confessions Booklet ($3.00), please sign up at the information desk in the foyer.
Has Your Address/Phone # Changed?
If you have moved or had your phone number changed since February 2009, please contact the office with the updated information. We are working on an updated directory to be completed in the near future. In addition, if you would like for your cell phone number to be included as a part of the updated directory, please let us know.
Next Connections 101 Class
Begins Sunday, November 22 Please sign up at the information center if you would like to be a part of the next class. Pastor Tim teaches Connections 101 during Sunday School. It is a requirement for church membership, but is open to anyone interested in attending.
Thanks So Much for All You Did!
The Women’s and Men’s Ministries would like to thank everyone for your help with the Bazaar and Bake & Yard Sales, and the BBQ Plate Sale which were held on Friday and Saturday. Everything you did was greatly appreciated and contributed to the success of these events which helped raise money to fund upcoming Women’s and Men’s Ministries projects.
Picture Day—December 12, 2009
Mark your calendars and save the date! This will be a make-up day for having pictures made by Creative Touch for the new Pictorial Directory. If you did not have your picture made for the directory last year, or you would like an updated picture for any reason, please plan to have your picture made. The cost for tickets is $10.00. The $10.00 is profit for the Women’s Ministries. With your ticket you will receive a free 8 X 10 photo and a copy of the church directory. You will be given the opportunity to purchase photo packages when you pick up your free photo. You can also help sell tickets. Anyone selling 10 or more tickets will receive a free photo package. No November WM or MM Meetings
The WM Bazaar and MM BBQ were in lieu of the November Men’s and Women’s Ministries Meetings. The next meeting will be on Tuesday, December 15, 2009.
Thanksgiving Week Schedule Change
As is our custom, we will meet on Tuesday instead of Wednesday for Momentum Mid-Week activities during Thanksgiving week. This will allow families more time to prepare for Thanksgiving Day activities.
PUPPET TRAINING
This Thursday, November 19, 2009 Anyone interested in receiving training in the use of puppets may attend a night of training by Aaron Granade. It will be held inside the CWOC church kitchen beginning at 6:30 PM. This is a $30.00 value, but free to those from the hosting church. Please call Aaron at 803-386-1593 to register, or you may register at the door.
GLOBAL OUTREACH OFFERING 2009
The yearly Global Outreach (GO) Offering is an opportunity to give a special gift to Missions. Anyone giving a Day’s Wage in the Offering is eligible to receive a beautiful commemorative mug. To receive a mug, you should note on your check or envelope, “Day’s Wage.” You will also need to specify if the Day’s Wage is for you, your spouse, or both. If you are giving an offering which does not equal a Day’s Wage, or if you are but do not wish to receive a mug, mark your offering simply as “GO Offering” or “Day’s Wage – No Mug.”
